The surprising concentration of this village-level Pulign
A little paler in colour with striking class and indeed some elegance. Just a little vanilla but it is really the intensity of white fruit speaking. I was thinking 1er cru at first sniff. The oak returns on the palate no problem at this early stage because there is a wealth of fruit to accompany it. The balance and the finish are impeccable. Old vines again.
bhCool but ripe aromas include those of mostly apple and acacia blossom along with an interesting hint of tangerine peel. There is solid size weight and mid-palate density to the beautifully textured medium weight flavors that brim with sappy dry extract that easily buffers the moderately firm acid spine shaping the youthfully austere yet sneaky long finale. This too would benefit from having better depth so a few years of cellaring should help. (Drink starting 2029)
