Jasper Morris: 93-96 Points
This wine is made from 75% in the main part of Caillerets and 25% in Les Combards not yet assembled but blended in the glass for me. A light yellow colour with huge energy on the nose a wine which is resisting the blandishments of the sun. This will need extra time in barrel according to Caroline. Notwithstanding their Bâtard-Montrachet this is often the great wine in the Jean-Noël Gagnard cellar. There is a touch of youthful bitterness at the finish but will be spectacular.
Burghound: 90-93 Points
A mildly exotic character is present on the layered aromas of both yellow and white orchard fruit tinged with spice wood and tangerine peel.
