Wine Advocate: 93-95 Points
Wafting from the glass with pretty aromas of raspberries rose petals peonies and spices Faiveley's 2022 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Charmes is medium to full-bodied supple and suave with a cool and concentrated core of fruit melting tannins and a long mineral finish. It's especially strong this year. Jérôme Flous and his team have produced another compelling range of 2022s and it's hardly surprising given the high level of vineyard management chez Faiveley or the skill and precision brought to bear in the winery and the cellar. As is often the case up and down the Côte d'Or the style is more delicate and sensual than was the case in 2020 and the wines seem set to offer broad drinking windows. Published: Jan 18 2024
