The 2020 Halenberg Riesling Spätlese is wild and spicy on the clear fresh and elegant as well as aromatic nose. Full-bodied piquant and juicy on the palate this is a gorgeously aromatic Halenberg that needs years to open up and gain finesse. The Halenberg is richer more sumptuous and sweeter than the Frühlingsplätzchen but still reductive on the finish. 8.5% alcohol. Tasted at the domain in July 2021.
