Jasper Morris
New this year vines in their 3rd leaf located below Puligny. Made in a mix of foudre and stainless steel. In bottle. Pale colour. A very pleasing light floral nose. Delicious a bit more fruit concentration than one might expect from such young vines but obviously not the longest ? but delicious for early drinking.
Wine Hog
The aligoté is from fairly old vines near the Corton hill on the Ladoix-Serrigny side. This is quite a generous aligoté and it doesn?t have the backbone of the 2021. Rather gentle and harmonious it is definitely more generous than the ?21 but the two wines play on different strengths. The ?22 is more vinous and will go better with more substantial cuisine. Vinous
The 2022 Bourgogne Aligoté Jeunes Vignes is redolent of floral savory and mineral notes. Crushed rocks mint white flowers slate and dried lemon peel all race across the palate supported by veins of saline minerality that give the wine length as well as persistence. The 2022 was vinified and aged 70% in cask and 30% in tank. - Antonio Galloni (Drink between 2024-2030)
