The 2020 Barolo Cannubi is all class. Floral soaring aromatics meld into a core of dark red-toned fruit. Medium in body and nuanced with plenty of youthful tannin the 2020 sizzles with energy and all the classicism that is such a signature of this site all amplified by an approach at Altare today that marries textural richness with vibrancy. Today the Cannubi is the most reticent of the 2020 Altare Barolos?probably a good sign for its future. (Drink between 2027-2045)
