This wine is densely perfumed with prominent blackberry and rose petal aromas. Texturally it is rich and lush yet it also shows great finesse and elegance. There are reserves of tannin and plenty of density but everything is fully ripe and there is no astringency or tartness. This too is admirably fresh and bright with more subtle earth and floral influences that add breadth to the pure red pinot fruit aromas.
