Beaune Teurons from Rossignol-Trapet is a distinct step up from their villages wine with better density and winning aromas of ripe black plum and cherry adorned with hints of earth and smoke. The seamless texture is rich and velvety and the wine has the balance and energy to supply a lingering finish. The biodynamically-grown grapes are from the domaine's 1.4-hectare parcel at the top of the slope; they are partly destemmed and fermented with a meticulous extraction to yield this delicious wine. (Drink between 2027-2055)
A light crimson ruby colour. The nose is quite refined as well with a fresh crunchy red fruit not too much body but more of a linear intensity and certainly very persistent. Very well balanced.
A ripe nose speaks mostly of both red and dark cherry liberally laced with warm earth nuances. The supple delicious and caressing middleweight flavors possess good verve that carries over to the inviting and lingering finish where a touch of rusticity eventually surfaces.
