The 2018 Beaune Grèves 1er Cru comes from white sandy soils toward top of the slopes a one-hectare parcel of vines planted in the 1950s and the 1990s. It has a fragrant bouquet of morello cherry crushed strawberry hints of vanilla pod and orange pith scents all very attractive. The palate is medium-bodied with supple tannins on the entry almost airy in style and crushed red berries mixed with light cranberry notes toward the finish. Very transparent and well crafted. (Drink between 2021-2035)
