Black cherry walnut mocha and dried earth on the nose. Some iodine too. It?s medium-to full-bodied with fine-grained tannins. Soft and flavorful. Ripe at the end. 85% merlot and 15% cabernet sauvignon. Try after 2023.

Unusually for the Médoc this wine is packed with Merlot with just a light addition of Cabernet Sauvignon. That gives richness still firm tannins and a jammy black-fruit character. Full ripe and juicy the wine will likely be ready from 2024. - Roger Voss
