James Suckling: 98 Points
Dark color. Lots of black cherry umami pine resin oyster shell wild berry and iodine aromas. Unique and full-bodied with powdery tannins that get firm. Tees this up nicely. Most likely heritage clones. Drinkable but will age nicely. Drink or hold.

This is vivid with a torrent of raspberry and mulberry pâte de fruit flavors streaming through laced with hints of violet hibiscus anise and bergamot. The long racy finish carries it off with aplomb with just a kiss of apple wood at the end allowing the fruit to sail on unencumbered. Drink now through 2035. 412 cases made.
