The 2022 Meursault Les Vireuils returns after a few years away this cuvée from an exchange of fruit. The nose is expressive with yellow plum and pithy with a tangible underlying mineralité. The palate is fresh on the entry with hints of white peach and slithers of Clementine. It has lovely balance and purity with an open-knit tensile finish. Excellent. (Drink between 2025 - 2038). 01/24

An interesting fresher terroir which he used to make and has now found a new supplier. Mid lemon yellow. There is some ripe citrus on the nose as well as orchard fruit. Very good finish the fruit keeps returning. 11/23

Noticeably cooler aromas freely reveal their combination of hazelnut Granny Smith apple carnation and zest scents. The super-sleek well-detailed and mineral-inflected medium-bodied flavors possess a sophisticated mouthfeel while exhibiting fine length on the youthfully austere balanced and sneaky long finish. This is a really lovely Meursault villages and worth checking out. (Drink starting 2029). 06/24

Revealing aromas of pear citrus zest iodine white flowers and struck match the 2022 Meursault Vireuils is medium to full-boded satiny and racy with tangy acids and a saline finish. 01/24
