Very bright and focused with al-dente berry character on the nose as well as orange-peel and violet aromas following through to a medium body with ultra-fine tannins that are polished and so long. Racy at the end. Some crunchiness. So delicious now. Drink or hold.

The Tenuta di Biserno 2021 Il Pino di Biserno is a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon Merlot Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc. The Cabernet-adjacent aromas come through nicely with dark fruit blackberry and exotic spice. The wine is full-bodied in texture and structure although it manages slightly more contained richness on the mid-palate. That gives Il Pino a more accessible disposition.
