A seamless Champagne with precision balance delivering a finely meshed range of poached pear and quince candied lemon peel salted Marcona almond oyster shell and white blossom notes. Encased in a swathe of plush texture the fine china?like spine of acidity provides graceful definition through to the long minerally finish. Drink now through 2035.?A.N.
The NV Blanc de Blancs Blanc Singulier (2019 Édition) is surprisingly tight for a Champagne from a vintage marked by severe heat spikes that I witnessed in person. I imagine that will stand it in good stead over the coming years but for now readers will have to be patient. Bristling citrus floral and mineral inflections race across the palate brightened by the no-dosage style and a search for vibrancy in the wine. This release is a blend of 77% 2019 and 23% perpetual reserve. Bottled with no dosage. (Drink between 2026-2036)
A focused bone-dry blanc de blancs that is showing notes of crushed stone blanched almond lemon and white grapefruit. Lively and bright with silky bubbles. 100% chardonnay 77% from 2019 with 23% perpetual reserve wine started in 2018. 0g/L dosage. Drink now.
