The 2019 Barbaresco Albesani is a haunting gorgeous wine. Sweet macerated cherry kirsch dried herbs mint leather and orange peel lift from the glass. A Barbaresco of exotic beauty and elegance the 2019 Albesani has so much to offer. It's not an immediate wine yet its charm can't be denied. This deceptively mid-weight Barbaresco just needs time to be at its best. I especially admire its inner sweetness.
