As focused as a laser beam the Meursault Criots has surprising tension for the vintage. Bright forward aromas tend to the exotic with a suggestion of grapefruit and passionfruit and notes of hazelnut smoke and saline minerality. The feel on the palate is straight and fresh ? there is nothing heavy about this wine. It should open up with two or three years in the bottle and drink well for 10 or 15 more. (Drink between 2025 - 2040)
