This is already very complex with tobacco blackberries and hints of cedar. It?s medium-bodied with firm and layered tannins. Juicy and so delicious. It can age too. Delightful now but better after 2025.
Ripe red cherries and plums with tobacco and spice notes - this smells hot and heady forward and indulgent. Mouthwatering straight away - juicy with sucrosity hinting at the hot vintage. Slightly thick and plump in the mouth but tannins are also firmly textured giving bite and spiced wood elements on the tongue. I'm always shocked at the quality of the base Pauillac from this château but I guess at this point I shouldn't be given that it's outstanding in just about every vintage. The 2018 Le Pauillac De Château Latour has a medium to full-bodied ripe rounded even sexy style as well as sunny aromatics of red and black fruits smoked tobacco and lead pencil shavings. It's balanced concentrated and incredibly satisfying.
