Lafarge has two plots in Volnay on the way to Meursault co-planted with Pinot Noir and Gamay. The vines are more than 90 years of age and are picked and fermented together: 'a real Passetoutgrain' according to Frédéric Lafarge. The result is aromatic and forward with pretty floral notes on the nose while on the palate there is more structure than you?d expect even a slight astringency. (Drink between 2021-2029)
