Jasper Morris: 92-94 Points
Fermented in new wood then racked after malolactic in the spring and put into an amphora in March for six months and now in tank. The new oak has left a patina at the surface but not infusing the rest of the wine. This has the stuffing you would expect from the vineyard. Really quite powerful further back on the palate with a mix of white and yellow fruit. Some wood tannins act as a useful complement. Will be quite a good example if still a little bit dissociated. Drink from 2025-2030.
