An exceptionally fresh nose combines notes of bright dark berries and plum with those of violet earth and a hint of forest floor character all of which is trimmed in subtle but not invisible wood treatment. The cool energetic and mineral-infused medium weight flavors possess equally good power and delineation on the serious dusty and moderately austere finale. I like the balance though this is also sufficiently compact to need all of a decade to resolve the underlying structure. (Drink starting 2032)
