The 2021 Vosne-Romanée Aux Brûlées 1er Cru is a step up from the Les Suchots though it was the only cuvée to be racked. Dark plummy fruit sous-bois crushed stone and light clove scents complex and engaging. The palate possesses unerring symmetry exquisite balance and poise with a pixelated finish. This is Aux Brûlées at its most finessed. (Drink between 2025-2045)

The 2021 Vosne-Romanée 1er Cru Aux Brûlées wafts from the glass with aromas of dark wild berries spices orange zest and gunpowder. Medium to full-bodied rich and concentrated it's deep and enveloping with a layered core of fruit powdery tannins and a long spice-inflected finish.
