Wine Advocate: 93-95 Points

The 2022 Nuits-Saint-Georges 1er Cru Aux Cras is velvety and suave bursting with aromas of cherries plums and berries mingled with spices petals and licorice. Medium to full-bodied layered and enveloping with a deep core of fruit bright acids and a mineral finish it's one of the high points of the range once again. - William Kelley

Jasper Morris: 92-95 Points

Mid red purple. A marvellous density to the nose rich in fruit and flowers together not one of the deep dark ones. Very fluent the whole bunch shows but gives the wine an additional bounce. By Jasper Morris

Burghound: 91-93 Points

Discreet but not invisible wood sets off overtly floral-inflected aromas of essence of red currant spice and wet stone. There is even better mid-palate density to the tautly muscular intense and wonderfully vibrant bigger-bodied flavors that culminate in a dusty moderately austere and sneaky long finish that could use at least some bottle aging in order to develop better depth. Very promising. (Drink starting 2030) By Allen Meadows

Vinous: 91-93 Points

The 2022 Nuits Saint-Georges Aux Cras 1er Cru has an exquisite Vosne-like bouquet offering rose petals and violets complementing the vivacious red fruit. Wonderful delineation. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins. Perhaps a little austere towards the finish but I suspect that will fill out during the second winter in barrel. A bit of a dark horse. (Drink between 2026 - 2044). - By Neal Martin
