The 2022 Volnay Les Roncerets 1er Cru conveys a sense of airiness and transparency on the nose - pure pinot for wont of a better word. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins definitely a lighter/hands-off take on Volnay that some might find a little ephemeral though it will put on weight during its second winter in barrel. But it should still be approachable once in bottle. (Drink between 2026 - 2044)

Formerly known as Les Aussy. Considerable depth to the purple. This has a fresh yet ripe raspberry fruit energy up front on the nose. Striking energy on the palate the right acidity a little oak behind a good fresh example.
