The 2022 Meursault Meix Chavaux offers more fruit intensity than the Clos du Cromin: dried honey mandarin and light crushed rock aromas. The palate is medium-bodied with an oily-textured opening. Plenty of extract and good depth with a judicious touch of ginger enhancing the finish. Very promising. (Drink between 2026 - 2042)

A mid lemon colour with a slightly riper nose than Clos du Cromin. Cool sandy soil which stays austere unless you wait to pick. Fresh lemons and ripe apples with a central core of white fruit. Very good length.

Cool crisp. Certainly not the weightiest Meursault but has more of a linear style with mineral notes on the palate. I like the purity of fruit here and the fact that this has good energy and is not overburdened by fleshy fruit. Salty aftertaste. (AWH) (Drink between 2026 - 2032)
