The 2016 Dino is 100% Sangiovese done in terra cotta which brings out the wine's perfumed aromatics and bright acid profile. A touch of reduction -typical of wines done in amphora - adds striking character to play off the young Sangiovese acids and tannins. Dino remains distinctive if hard to place stylistically within the range as it is quite different from the other wines here.
