The 2019 Auxey-Duresses Vieilles Vignes comes from 85-year-old vines planted by Jean Prunier in the lieu-dit of La Canée and sees 20% new oak. It has an attractive bouquet with perfumed lemon thyme orange blossom and light apricot aromas. The palate is well balanced with a rounded texture a fine bead of acidity lightly spiced with orange rind and a hint of marmalade towards the finish. Just delicious. (Drink between 2022-2032)
