TOP VALUE From vines located within the village limits of Meursault in 2022 producing a wine with delicious apple aromas and notes of acacia flowers with a bit of smoky reduction. The texture is dense and rich but not heavy. The grapes are fermented in cask but no new oak and the wine matured for 18-24 months with occasional lees stirring. Complex and texturally satisfying. Organic. (Drink between 2024 - 2035)
The 2022 Bourgogne Blanc Côte d'Or has a distinctive nose with potent Conference pear scents bursting from the glass. The palate is well-balanced with a fine bead of acidity lightly spiced with hints of rose water and even a soupçon of red fruit towards the finish. Delicious. (Drink between 2024 - 2030). Riper if not fresh aromas of petrol various white orchard fruit and citrus give way to delicious and slightly more voluminous flavors that are at once plump but punchy all wrapped in an equally clean finale that offers a bit more depth. This isn't quite as dry or austere and is a wine that should repay 2 to 3 years of keeping. (Drink starting 2026). By Allen Meadows Jun-24 Issue #95 6/10/2024
Certified biodynamic. Cask sample. More creamy on first impression after the Aligoté. But still has fresh herby citrus. Deep almost luscious but that richness balanced by dry chalky texture and excellent freshness. (JH) (Drink between 2025 - 2028). By Julia Harding MW 1/16/2024
