Bright pale yellow. Enticing aromas of lemon cream and white flowers. Supple and fruity but also quite bright with citrus peel flavor edgy acidity and good stony character. Firmly built village wine finishing with a note of powdered stone but less persuasive minerality than the 2004. I tasted the bottling to be shipped to the U.S. importer the first of three.
An ultra clean bright and ripe green and yellow fruit nose that is riper than its '06 counterpart introduces spicy delicious and textured middle weight flavors that are delicious minerally and display a hint of the exotic on the nicely long finish. A quality villages that is slightly curious in that the nose suggests opulence on the palate while the flavors are quite crisp and precise. (Drink starting 2009)
