The 2022 Chassagne Montrachet Village has a slightly conservative bouquet that needs encouragement opening nicely with green apple nettle and light limestone scents. The palate is well balanced with good concentration and fine depth considering this is a Village Cru. A bright spicy finish lingers in the mouth. This constitutes a well-made Chassagne Village that should age well in bottle. Tasted at merchants' 2022 Burgundy tastings in London. (Drink between 2026-2036)
