Deep dark ruby dark core purple reflections delicate bright rim. Fresh plum fruit a somewhat open bouquet subtle hints of fine oak orange zest. Powerful somewhat restrained discreet plum note well-integrated tannins chocolaty touch on the finish seems closed overall at this stage a substantial fruity food wine with future ageing potential.
Sweet licorice chocolate and tobacco at first. Opens up with blueberries dark plums and a steely mineral core. Full and really smooth texture. Velvety tannins and a wonderful long finish with a very attractive fruit. Enjoyable already but tannins will integrate further with time. Try in 2016.
Fleshy with lots of intense blackberry plum and boysenberry notes blended together and wound with licorice strips and singed alder wood. Solid grip through the finish has a slightly chewy feel now but should soften soon enough. Best from 2015 through 2025. 3333 cases made.
Floral black raspberry and licorice in the nose soft ripe tannins and a finish with sweet black cherries. This drinks well young due to the ripeness of the fruit and it should age for at least another 10-15 years.
