For the first time in years there's a new wine from Clos i Terrasses. And it's a white! The 2023 Laurel White comes from a plot in Manyetes with one hectare of white grapes?Garnacha Blanca Chenin Blanc Viognier and a little Moscatel planted between 2013 and 2015. The grapes were picked in early August and the full clusters were pressed and the juice put in 400-liter barrels and amphorae where it matured for eight months. It has a golden color and a serious nose that's a little different from pure Garnacha with the classical waxy apples and pollen but a little more exotic and nuanced. The palate is serious and balanced with a nice texture dry and chalky with a tasty focused and clean finish. Very promising. This was tasted a couple of weeks before bottling. 3400 bottles.
