A pretty nose combines notes of acacia blossom lemon confit spice petrol and a hint of orange peel. There is outstanding intensity to the rich concentrated and powerful larger-bodied flavors that deliver superb length on the balanced complex and markedly dry but not really austere finale. The 2021 Pouilly-Fuissé Château des Quarts 1er Cru Monopole was bottled a little later than other vintages. It has a bright vivid nose with green apples lemon rind crushed rock and a slightly smoky scent. The palate is well balanced with a grippy entry.
