Tasted blind at the 2007 Bordeaux horizontal in Southwold. The Le Pin 2007 has a very pure bouquet with cassis bilberry blueberry and crushed stone all with superb delineation but tightly wound at the moment. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins lovely caressing texture with seamless tannins velvety smooth dark cherry and cassis on the finish with filigree tannins.
