The 2009 Barolo Otin Fiorin Piè Rupestris - Nebioli is a fabulous start to this evening, as it is in such a beautiful spot right now. Open-knit and sensual, the 2009 envelops the palate with rich, pliant fruit, all wrapped into a silky, mid-weight frame. I have never been crazy about the 2009 Barolos, but there is no question the wines are drinking very well at the moment. What a gorgeous Barolo.

All of the wines were sourced directly from the estate making this a tasting that will be very hard if not impossible to replicate.
