Jasper Morris: 90-92 Points
These are the ?young? vines planted in 1983 in La Dominode. An attractive mid purple. The whole bunch vinification shows more than usual on the nose while behind there is a delicious red berry fruit with some orange zest. Harmonious on the palate very Savigny and quite persistent.

The 2022 Savigny-lès-Beaune Les Jarrons 1er Cru is a little riper on the nose than the La Dominode though perhaps doesn't deliver the same degree of complexity. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins black plum cranberry and graphite notes on the cohesive finish. Superb. (Drink between 2025 - 2038)
