Wine Spectator: 93 Points
Sleek and finely knit with a lovely satiny mousse gliding across the palate carrying flavors of white raspberry peach skin blanched almond and oyster shell. Long and mouthwatering with hints of ground ginger and pink grapefruit pith on the elegant finish. Chardonnay Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier. Disgorged spring 2022. Drink now through 2028.

Attractive salmon color with aromas of dried strawberries and lemons, as well as hints of flowers. Full-bodied with tight tension from the fine phenolics that run through the palate. Hints of white pepper, peaches and sliced green strawberries with some candied lemons, too. Always an excellent bottle. 40% chardonnay, 30% pinot noir and 30% pinot meunier. Drink now.

"While this wine is rich it is also well balanced with perfumed acidity and a tight mineral edge. Ripe with red berry fruits it is dry and full in the mouth. Both fresh and rich at the same time it will be better with food."

Based on the 2016 vintage the new NV Brut Rosé from Billarcart-Salmon has turned out nicely mingling notes of red berries and plums with notions of peach dried flowers and orange rind. Medium to full-bodied pillowy and elegant it's bright and charming with a generous core of fruit racy acids and a pinpoint mousse. Giving and demonstrative it's already drinking well.
