The 2018 Extra-Brut Ambonnay Grand Cru (from Les Feuchères) is terrific. Airy and light on its feet the 2018 offers an especially refined side of Ambonnay that I find quite appealing. Crushed flowers mint spice chalk white pepper cranberry and blood orange are all beautifully lifted. Ambonnay is usually about power but this rendition is pure finesse. What a delight. Dosage is 4 grams per liter. Disgorged: July 2023. (Drink between 2024-2036)
