Quinta do Noval is one of Port’s greatest estates. Known for their exceptional long-lived Vintage Ports and the uber-rare Vintage Nacional, Quinta do Noval is truly one of the most dynamic and forward thinking Port estates that not only innovates but holds firmly onto tradition and history.

In Port there are not many houses making Colheita, Vintage Tawny Port, and Quinta do Noval is the leader of the category with ease. Made only in exceptional years, Colheita are single Vintage Ports that are aged in wood for an extended period of time, on average 15 years, at Noval. These are limited release expressions and not as easily found as the blended Tawny Ports that every Port House produces. Here, we benefit from the combination of richness of fruit and Vintage characteristics that are aged and mellowed in wood. More robust and richer than a blended Tawny Port, Colheita is that cross between Vintage Port and Tawny Port. The beauty is these are extremely age worthy in the bottle and will only continue to evolve at a very slow pace, not to mention once opened, these are very stable wines that when treated properly can last weeks to months once opened.

Quinta do Noval Colheita is the ultimate Port that any Port lover should keep in their cellar as the versatility and reliability of drinking well is incomparable, not to mention the uniqueness as not everyone will have these.
