Just Arrived: Spain's Most Influential Wine Project
Recently, we featured our remaining stocks of one of Spain's most exciting projects, Comando G. The Garnacha (Grenache) from Comando G is nothing short of magnificent and, frankly, among the greatest produced anywhere in the world today.
Morrell just received the latest releases of the critically-acclaimed Comando G, including 2023 new releases and 2022 single vineyard cru late releases. The results are once again spectacular. Luis Gutierrez of The Wine Advocate notes that the 2023 wines offer "elegance, freshness, and precision" from the cooler year. You will also find late releases of highly rated single village cru from the outstanding 2022 vintage.
The truth is - Landi and Comando G are truly wines of themselves. Their quality is at the apex of what we see in wine today. They are simply exceptional, from the everyday bottles to the rare single vineyard expressions. The purity and character of Garnacha from the old vines and higher altitude vineyards they farm belong shoulder to shoulder with the greats of the world. These are wines of complexity and purity, the aromatics are intense and diverse, the textures are sensual and age-worthy. These stunning expressions belong in every wine enthusiast's cellar.
