After Italy and France, it is the world's third largest wine producer by volume, and grape cultivation was started here by the Phoenicians as early as 1100 B.C. Tonight, Spanish wine importer James Turney, president of Parador Selections, will guide us on a tour of the various regions and varietals by pouring 8 selections (mostly red) from the famed Rioja, Ribera del Duero, Priorat, Rias Baixas, and others.
