Cellar/Tasting Notes
An amazing Rosso di Montalcino. Rosso is Brunello's "baby brother" and this is one of the most delicious Rossos we've ever tasted. Brimming with dark cherry/berry fruit, amazingly silky, soft and rich and warm on the palate, the fruit envelops and caresses as only Sangiovese can. We loved this Rosso so much that we bought it for the Morrell Wine Bar where they will be pouring it by the glass. James Suckling (JS): 90 A fruity and firm red, with berry and dried strawberry character, medium body and firm tannins. Well-structured Rosso di Montalcino. Drink now. |
