Cellar/Tasting Notes
A small quantity of white wine is made at Lynch Bages from 58% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Semillon and 12% Muscadelle. 70% of the production was fermented in barrels of which 80% were new. The wine will be bottled in the Summer of 2010 but sold en primeur before delivery later in the year. There are lots of exotic fruit flavours here - white peach, pineapple and grapefruit, and a good cut of fresh acidity from the Sauvignon Blanc. Good richness of fruit with minerality and bite. |
