Even tasting it after the Fut de Chene, what comes through is a gorgeous, layered expression of fruit on an expansive, generous frame. Red berries, orange zest and sweet baking spices linger on the powerful close. The Brut Rose Esprit is 70% Pinot Noir, 22% Chardonnay and 8% oak-aged Ay Pinot. The wine is best enjoyed at the dinner table, where it will pair nicely with a wide range of foods." |
