Veuve Clicquot's Prestige Cuvee, La Grande Dame, is a refined wine which pays homage to a very "grande dame de la Champagne,--" Madame Clicquot.
The incomparable finesse of this cuvee results from a blend of eight of the House's traditional Grands Crus.
Initially, the aromas exhibits a mineral element coinciding with noble fruit such as white peaches and bergamot. After some time, the wine's bouquet becomes less intense and more voluptuous with subtle hints of brioche, nougat, apricot, vanilla and jasmine.
The La Grande Dame is a wine of body and substance. The texture is crisp and silky with evident chalky mineral notes which blend harmoniously with the full bodied structure. The intense wine segues into a fresh and generous finish.

"This is a rich and creamy Champagne with a lively mousse, giving it a forward fruit character. Slowly the depth and concentration of the wine come through, with a white fruit flavor and hints of grapefruit and toasty yeast, which all promising good aging."

"Very elegant, this is all in the details: precise and silky texture, mouthwatering acidity and a smoky, mineral undertow that enriches flavors of patisserie pear, crystallized honey, kumquat and toasted almond. Offers a clean, citrus-tinged finish. Drink now through 2027."
