Cellar/Tasting Notes
If you've never drunk a glass of Prosecco, you should start right now! It is not Champagne and doesn't pretend to be Champagne – there is a time for Champagne and a time for Prosecco. Delicate, fresh and fragrant, Prosecco is more like a white wine (or a rosé) with tiny bubbles. It mixes well with all kinds of spring and summer foods, and is also quite gentle on the purse, which in these times is a blessing. What an inexpensive pick-me-up. In today's cocktail craze Prosecco is one of the stars. A bit of French cassis or St Germain Elderflower liqueur turns it into a very sexy drink.
