The 2009 Emmaline Ann displays lovely aromas of raspberry, black plum, cherry and tangerine essence, alongside supporting notes of black rose, incense, forest floor, leather and spice. The prominent aromas are balanced nicely by the crisp, focused acidity and incredible aging potential.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (RP): 92
"The 2009 Pinot Noir Emmaline Ann Vineyard is a gorgeous, expressive wine laced with sweet red berries, spices and flowers. The inclusion of 10-15% whole clusters gives the wine its aromatic lift. This is all subtlety and class. The delicate, sensual style is immensely appealing."

"Vivid red. Explosive aromas of red and dark berry preserves, incense, rose oil and Asian spices, with a bright mineral nuance emerging with air. Juicy, finely etched black raspberry and cherry flavors show excellent depth and power, with no excess fat. Closes with outstanding vivacity and length, leaving floral and mineral notes behind."
