The 2009 Chanin Chardonnay aroma is dominated by classic chardonnay characteristics of citrus, very present stone fruit, honey blossom, and lemon rind.
On the palate the fruit is reminiscent of citrus, baking spice, toasted almonds and ripe green apple. This wine was aged for 16 months in barrel, giving it texture and natural richness.
The finish is long, and with intense minerality and refreshing acidity.
Robert Parker's Wine Advocate (RP): 90
"The 2010 Chardonnay Los Alamos Vineyard shows the more delicate side of Chardonnay in its understated personality. Lemon, pears, white flowers and a subtle hint of oak flow through nicely to the mineral-laced finish."
