A Morrell Discovery
Named after two of Chablis Grand Cru vineyards, Clos and Blanchots, this Chardonnay is dense, with vibrant freshness and acidity. Crisp lemon zest, nectarine, custard, and crushed rock/chalky-like notes jump from the glass. Loaded with flavor as well as character.
The 2010 presents with aromatic collection of Minerals, citrus and green apples. A flinty character matched with citrus, green apple and a white floral note on the palate. The wine is focused and taught but has a generous mid-palate and it finishes with laser like acidity.
