This generation of Savoy Pinot Noir exuded grace and femininity, while displaying classic flavors within the pedigree. In the glass a core of burnt red is gently surrounded by an antique rose halo. The comforting aromas of baked cherry cobbler, sweet cinnamon and warm graham cracker are heightened by the deft use of oak and pair beautifully with the undertones of rich raspberries and sous bois. This deeply layered wine has a seemingly sweet entry and offers flavors of fresh orange peel and juicy strawberries. An elegant weight carries through to a seamless finish with ageworthy tannin. And the wonderfully long finish leaves plenty of fruit with more baking spice. While this vintage of Savoy is currently deep and harmonious, the intensity of this wine will allow for many years in a cool cellar.

"The 2011 Pinot Noir Savoy captures the best qualities of the vintage at Radio Coteau. Nothing is out of balance in this fragrant, high-toned Pinot. In 2011 the Savoy is all about silk and nuance. Sweet, red berries, freshly cut flowers, licorice and spices are all layered into the polished refined finish. This is another drop-dead gorgeous wine from Radio-Coteau."
