This wine, named after Calera's owner Josh Jensen's father Stephen, is an Impeccably balanced, rich, round and age-worthy wine. The 2011 presents as one of the most concentrated and richest showings from this north/north-east facing block. The mouthwatering, yet taut flavors of black plum, forest floor, sleek red fruits and a unique salinity make it a delicious and fascinating wine. The structure is full and round but firm, with exquisite balance and a wonderful lingering finish.

"This offers aromas of dried herb and pennyroyal, with a compelling core of dark berry flavors, showing dried currant, cranberry and black licorice notes. Gains depth and length on the finish."
